The Jegog originated in Negara, West Bali. It
is an ansemble or orchestra of very large bamboo tubes hanging
on wooden frames in the gamelan style of instrument. The booming
sound of the jegog carries the powerful sound and vibration of
the deep jungle. The chorus - echoing effect of the giant bamboo
instrument creates a unique and memorable experience for any listener.
